The Montgomery County Planning Department, part of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, is sponsoring a three-part Winter Speaker Series, “Imagine the Future of Montgomery County,” to be held in January, February and March 2019, that will focus on  the upcoming General Plan update and the broad trends and challenges facing the county over the next 20 to 30 years. Session One focuses on recent changes to General Plans in other local jurisdictions. The series is free and open to the public and planning professionals.
