The 2026 Heritage Days brochure is now available, featuring 34 participating sites across Montgomery County as part of this year’s countywide celebration. Timed with the county’s 250th anniversary, the 27th annual Heritage Days weekend on June 27 and 28 invites residents and visitors to explore the people, places, and stories that have shaped the community. This free festival, hosted by Heritage Montgomery, showcases a wide range of experiences, from Civil War and agricultural history to African American heritage, railroads and trolleys, and life along the C&O Canal National Historical Park, as well as arts, culture, and outdoor recreation throughout the county.
