Over the weekend of Nov. 4-6, programs celebrating Maryland Emancipation Day will be offered at the Sandy Spring Slave Museum and several Montgomery Parks sites including Josiah Henson Park in N. Bethesda and the Woodlawn, Visitor Center in Sandy Spring.
