Orienteering Hike

Seneca Creek State Park

This is an introduction to orienteering by hiking around a course in Seneca Creek State Park. Compasses and maps will be provided as you make your way through course B. This program is weather permitting – to check status, please call the park office ahead of the program. Meet at the Tire Playground.

Reptile Encounter

Come to Seneca Creek State Park for a fun, 30-45 minute program for all ages. Meet a living snake or turtle and examine shells and skins from reptiles living in the park. Meet at the Park Office.

CSI – Critter Scene Investigations

Art Dolls: Figurative Sculptures Tell a Story features the work of students enrolled in doll making classes at Montgomery College, where they utilize sculpting, painting, designing, wig making, costuming, and sewing to create art. Join a volunteer ranger to get out of the office and take an afternoon hike! This 1.2 mile walk is perfect to stretch your legs or just get outside for an hour. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. Meet at the Boat Center.
