On the first Tuesday of the month, you can enjoy a presentation covering various aspects of history, including local history of Montgomery County and the history of those who once lived here. This month, join David Craig, executive director of the World War I Centennial Commission as we go back in time to explore Maryland during The Great War. Learn how the war affected Marylanders both in Europe and on the home front before, during, and after the war. Bring your lunch; light beverages will be provided. The program will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. with seating and beverages ready just before noon. The lecture is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
