Emancipation Day at Button Farm

Celebrate the day in 1864 when Maryland changed its constitution to abolish slavery during the Civil War. Button Farm will commemorate 155 years of freedom in Maryland with music, food, and history. Musical performance by the Washington Revels Jubilee Singers. Round out the day with a guided tour of the slave cemetery, along with games, crafts, demonstrations and more!
