Montgomery County came into existence on September 6, 1776, just two months after our nation declared its independence. Since then, it has undergone tremendous change. This talk presents the county’s story through 25 “snapshots in time,” summarizing the major historical themes, events, and developments over the past two and a half centuries. Free.
