Join a naturalist for a guided lesson in drawing the flora and fauna that you see at the nature center. Each month there will be a theme with each program. For September learn how to draw landscapes. DESCRIPTION:What began as a 3-acre land patent in 1720 eventually grew to a 114-acre community center for the farmers to grind corn\, saw timber\, visit the local blacksmith for a repair\, and witness the power of the milling technology that earned Valley Mill its recognition as Maryland’s leading producer of corn meal in 1850.
