Kingsley Schoolhouse Open House

Explore one of the best remaining examples of a one-room schoolhouse in Montgomery County! Built in 1893 in response to the need for a school within walking distance of farms located in the Little Bennett Creek Valley, the Kingsley Schoolhouse served the local, rural farming community until it closed in 1935.

Pontoon Tours

Take a relaxing 45-minute boat ride on the pontoon boat “Blue Heron.” Learn about history of the area and search for that wildlife that call Clopper Lake home. Tours are at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. – meet at the Boat House. There is a small fee in addition to the park entrance fee.

Reptile Encounter
